Customized Training with the Institute For Gender and Cultural Competence (IGCC) brings our culturally-specific, in-depth intersectional analysis, and training expertise to you, the way you want it. We offer a myriad of seminars, workshops, webinars, and teach-ins that focus the most current practices, debates and innovations in the field of violence prevention.
All workshops are facilitated by experts in their fields. We use adult learning techniques and learning approaches specific to the age group of student audiences. The IGCC uses participatory pedagogy such as interactive exercises, role-play, and case studies, to maximize the likelihood of significant skill transfer and to increase the benefit to the participants and your school or organization. The sessions also tap into the experience and wisdom that is brought to the workshops by the participants, enabling significant peer learning within the workshop process.
